Defensive end Patrick Chukwurah is out for Sunday's game against Seattle with a torn medial collateral ligament in his knee.
Chukwurah suffered the injury against Miami on Aug. 25. Bucs head coach Jon Gruden said on Monday that Chukwurah was likely out for the game, but Wednesday's injury report makes it clear he won't play.
Gruden did not name a starter at right defensive end.
“I don’t know who’s starting at this point, but we’ll have 11 out there, and we’ll use a lot of guys," Gruden said. "Who we start might depend on what they start with, so we’ll leave it at that.”
Tight end Jerramy Stevens did not practice Wednesday, as he is attending to a court date in Scottsdale, Ariz., related to his March arrest for a DUI.
Wide receiver Joey Galloway was limited in practice on Wednesday, but not due to injury. It was listed as a coach's decision.
Rookie left guard Arron Sears did not talk about the condition of his injured knee, saying that was a question for the team's trainer. It does appear that, since he isn't listed on the injury report, that he's likely to start on Sunday.
