Bucs running back Michael Pittman will not play on Sunday vs. Washington due to an ankle injury. Get the rest of the inactives for Sunday's game in this free article.

Michael Pittman, as expected, will not play in today’s game against Washington. The veteran back is inactive.

Pittman aggravated his ankle injury during last week’s game against Atlanta. He did not practice all week.

Other inactives for the Buccaneers on Sunday are QB Luke McCown (third quarterback), CB Keiwan Ratliff, LB Jeremiah Trotter, G Dan Buenning, TE Keith Heinrich, DE Greg Spires and DT Greg Peterson.

Also, as expected, Redskins S Sean Taylor is inactive. He did not practice this week and was declared out on Friday.

Other inactives for Washington today are QB Mark Brunell (third quarterback), CB David Macklin, FB Mike Sellers, OL Todd Wade, DT Ryan Boschetti, G Randy Thomas and WR James Thrash.

For the Bucs, DE Kevin Carter will start at left end and Gaines Adams will start at right end and Spires remains out of the lineup. For Washington, Stephon Heyer will start at right tackle for Todd Wade and Reed Doughty will start at free safety for Taylor.
