With FB B.J. Askew and DE Patrick Chukwurah already left behind in Tampa due to injury, the rest of the inactives for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were pretty easy to settle.
QB Bruce Gradkowski (third quarterback), RB Kenneth Darby, LB Ryan Nece, G Dan Buenning, TE Keith Heinrich and DT Greg Peterson are inactive for Sunday’s game in San Francisco.
Askew’s absence means that rookie Byron Storer will make his second straight start. The game is a homecoming of sorts for Storer, who went to California.
Meanwhile the Bucs didn’t catch a break in the 49ers inactives, as RB Frank Gore and WR Arnaz Battle, as expected, overcame minor injuries to be available for the game.
San Francisco’s inactives are QB Trent Dilfer, WR LeRon McCoy, DB Marcus Hudson, RB Michael Robinson, CB Shawntae Spencer, DT Damane Duckett, DT Atiyyah Ellison and WR Bryan Gilmore.
