Bucsblitz.com has worked all weekend to help you get to know the newest Bucs. Here, in one story, you can access everything Bucsblitz.com has written about these players, including scouting reports and past Scout.com articles. Get the scoop right here.

First round: Aqib Talib, CB, Kansas

The skinny: He should step into a third or fourth cornerback role almost immediately. Defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin said it might be necessary, given the number of passing teams on Tampa Bay’s schedule.

Second round: Dexter Jackson, WR/KR, Appalachian State

The skinny: He has 4.33 speed and can return kicks. But can he step into the slot? The Bucs know he has a learning curve but love his overall athletic ability and potential.

Third round: Jeremy Zuttah, OL, Rutgers

The skinny: The Bucs dress seven offensive linemen for regular season games. They believe Zuttah can be a contributor at all three line positions, but his best is right tackle, where Jeremy Trueblood is already entrenched.

Fourth round: Dre Moore, DT, Maryland

The skinny: The Bucs like the fact that Moore can get to the quarterback from the inside, a facet of their game that must improve in 2008. He’ll provide immediate depth and some see him as a sleeper pick.

Fifth round: Josh Johnson, QB, San Diego

The skinny: He’s highly accurate, but he’s also a project. The Bucs love the overall package — accurate passer with athletic ability.

Sixth round: Geno Hayes, LB, Florida State

The skinny: The Bucs see the 20-year old as a potential weak side or middle linebacker. That’s if his off the field issues don’t get in the way.

Seventh round: Cory Boyd, RB, South Carolina

The skinny: Boyd overcame a season-long suspension in 2005 to work his way back into this draft.
