Defensive end Marques Douglas is returning to where his career started, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers dealt the eight-year veteran to the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday.
The Bucs did not release the terms of the deal, but NFL Network reported that it includes a late-round pick in 2009 and, potentially, a pick in 2010.
Douglas (6-foot-2, 292 pounds) came to Tampa Bay in a free agent deal on March 18 and he was expected to compete for a spot at defensive end.
Douglas' trade brings the Bucs down to 74 players entering Thursday's game with Houston.
