Help from Holliday.

According to multiple reports, the Bucs have agreed to terms on a deal for WR/KR/PR Trindon Holliday. The diminutive returner is the only man in NFL history to have a kickoff and punt return for a touchdown in the same game in the NFL postseason.

The Untouchables

"We finished last with you, we can finish last without you." Those were the famous words uttered by former Pittsburgh Pirates owner Branch Rickey to slugger Ralph Kiner during contract talks. Kiner was one of the preiminent sluggers during his time. He wanted a raise. Rickey balked and dealt him to the Cubs.

Criticism Everywhere

When a team is 1-5 on the year, critiscism is going to appear from everywhere. Greg Cosell from NFL films talked about Michael Johnson struggling in this defensive scheme. Also, according to Cosell, Logan Mankins has performed below expectations since coming over in a trade from New England earlier in the year.

Bucs Receiving a "Ton of Calls" on Jackson

The Bucs might be on a bye week this week, but they are still heavily in the news. After it was reported that the Bucs had inquired about Percy Harvin with the Seahawks, it appears the Bucs are also receiving a lot of interest from teams interested in their own receiver Vincent Jackson.

Model For Evaluating Talent Worth Questioning

“I believe the player efficiency rating and Elitics Model can reveal, quantify, and communicate performance by providing comparative analysis as calculated with this player efficiency rating. I believe the PER metric is an added dimension that can guide a team and separate themselves from the rest of the NFL.”

Bucs Spoke With Seahawks About Harvin

As soon as the trade of Percy Harvin to the Jets was announced Friday evening, some Bucs fans were already wondering why there own team wouldn't inquire about a playmaker like Harvin. Well, the Bucs might have indeed inquired about Harvin, they just weren't willing to part with much.

Bucs Are Going Back To Basics

There have been plenty suggestions on how the Buccaneers can attempt to turn the season around and make their record somewhat respectable by season's end. The playoffs may not be an option, but optimism for next season is certainly an option.

Johnson Doesn't Fit Bucs Scheme

Before the season started, I thought the biggest free agent signing for the Bucs was defensive end Michael Johnson. This was the guy who could be that dominant pass rusher coming off the edge. The guy that would compliment Gerald McCoy and take advantage of one on one match ups consistently.

Mankins a "Detriment" for Bucs

The Bucs offensive line has been one of the worst units in the NFL this season as expected. Anthony Collins has been a bust, Demar Dotson has not been as good as he was a year ago, and now there is a battle between Patrick Omameh and Garrett Gilky at right guard. With those issues at hand, the Bucs biggest weakness along there offensive line might be the player they were supposed to lean on most.

Will Lovie Keep Glennon As The Starter?

This shouldn't even be debated. But it has. And it most likely will continue to be. At least until the team returns from the bye week.

Buc Ball is Dead

I don't typically put much stock in former athletes' opinions regarding a particular topic. I like ex athletes turned broadcasters to tell me something I don't know. Often times they don't. Too often they regurgitate information that I already know. But yesterday, to my surprise, that changed with comments by Warren Sapp.</

Sapp Not Happy With McCoy's Kindness

The story that won't go away just got another wrinkle to it. On Wednesday, Warren Sapp joined the "Booger and Ryan Show" on 98.7 The Fan and unloaded on the Buccaneers, but in particular the personality and mentality of the Bucs supposed "leader" on defense.
