Lane Out

Lane Out

The Buccaneers placed Jorvorskie Lane on injured reserve as the result of a right leg injury he suffered during Sunday's game in Chicago. Lane was hurt while rushing for two yards in the second quarter and had to be taken off the field on a cart.

Time for Pamphile

Time for Pamphile

The Bucs on Sunday couldn't run the ball against the Bears. In fact, the team hasn't been able to run the ball all year. The Bucs rushed for 66 yards on 22 carries against Chicago. Averaging three yards a carry simply isn't good enough if you are the Bucs. The team is 29th in the NFL in rushing yards per game.

Big Endorsement for Jameis Winston

Big Endorsement for Jameis Winston

There might still be five games left in the season, but much like last year for the Bucs, they're staring a high draft choice in the face yet again. After the unsettling play of both quarterbacks for the Bucs this season, it would surprise most if that position is not addressed this off-season, but which quarterback will the Bucs target?

Lovie/McCown Show Bears Fans Why They're Gone

Lovie/McCown Show Bears Fans Why They're Gone

The storyline was all set up as Lovie Smith and Josh McCown returned to the team and city where they had once had success. For Lovie Smith it was as steady a coaching job as anyone could ask for in the NFL. For Josh McCown, it was just a year ago where Bears fans wanted to stick with McCown over a healthy Jay Cutler. Today, McCown and Lovie reminded Chicago why they aren't there anymore.

Shouldn't Have Expected Anything More

Shouldn't Have Expected Anything More

Well, the Bucs played in Chicago just like they have much of the season. Last week's win provided hope for many but like I wrote this past week on BucsBlitz.com and mentioned on Gameday Uncensored on 98.7 The Fan, look at the Bucs with cautious optimism. Tampa Bay proved why on Sunday.

David Inactive vs. Bears

David Inactive vs. Bears

The Bucs will be looking to start a mini win streak without arguably their best player on Sunday. LB Lavonte David has been ruled out for Sunday's game with a hamstring injury.

The Commish's Official Bucs-Bears Prediction

The Commish's Official Bucs-Bears Prediction

The Buccaneers are in Chicago today looking to put together a winning streak for just the 2nd time this season. While it is the return of Lovie smith and Josh McCown to Chicago, there are many more factors that will lead to the final outcome of this game.

Lovie Smith and Josh McCown Return to Chicago

Lovie Smith and Josh McCown Return to Chicago

Anytime a person leaves one organization for another in the same industry, there always seems to be some added motivation against the previous employer. That is exactly the situation Lovie Smith and Josh McCown find themselves in on Sunday in Chicago.

Rain in Forecast for Sunday in Chicago

Rain in Forecast for Sunday in Chicago

As soon as the Buccaneers hired Lovie Smith to be their head coach, all eyes were on when Lovie would make his return to Chicago. That day is Sunday for both Lovie Smith and Josh McCown, but rain might put a damper on a potential vengeful return for both.

Cutler Inconsistent

Cutler Inconsistent

If one were to just compare the physical abilities of the two quarterbacks scheduled to start in Chicago this Sunday, Jay Cutler would come out on top every single time over Bucs starter Josh McCown.

Roster Concerns Heading Into Sunday

Roster Concerns Heading Into Sunday

If the Bucs are adamant about making a run at the division title, they need all hands on deck. That hasn't been the case all season and unfortunately, as they have gotten healthier, they could be without a key piece to their defense.

Bucs Pass Rush Should Be Successful On Sunday

Bucs Pass Rush Should Be Successful On Sunday

The Buccaneers' pass rush was successful last Sunday at Washington. They were able to bring down Robert Griffin III six times throughout the game and they could have success in that department for the second consecutive week.
