FB Jameel Cook signed with the Bucs earlier this week, taking the roster spot of FB Byron Storer, who went on injured reserve with a torn ACL in his right knee. Cook, who was released earlier this year by the Texans, took reps with the first team offense Wednesday and could start Sunday. Cook said he remembers a lot about the Bucs' offense from his days in Tampa Bay from 2001-05. "Obviously, it's been about three years since I've been gone, so things are going to change," Cook said. "But I'll pick up on it. A lot of guys are helping me. There is some stuff that is new, but for the most part, the basis of it, I still remember a lot of it." Bucs head coach Jon Gruden told reporters on Thursday that he was unsure if Cook would start. But if starter B.J. Askew is unable to play on Sunday, Cook would be the only pure fullback on the roster. RB Earnest Graham played fullback last Sunday against Carolina after Storer was hurt.
