RB Carnell Williams: Pads are coming for Caddy

Tampa Bay head coach Jon Gruden told reporters on Wednesday that RB Carnell Williams could be in pads on Thursday as the team continues to evaluate his progress from last year's patellar tendon tear. The Bucs have two more weeks to evaluate Williams before they must either activate him or put him on injured reserve. The latter move would end Williams' season. He has not played since suffering the knee injury 13 months ago.
