Bucs release Gradkowski, sign Stevens

Tampa Bay made a roster move on Friday, releasing third-year quarterback Bruce Gradkowski to make room for veteran TE Jerramy Stevens.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today announced that they have signed TE Jerramy Stevens and released QB Bruce Gradkowski.

Stevens played in 15 games with three starts for the Buccaneers in 2007. He totaled 18 receptions for 189 yards and four touchdowns last season.

Gradkowski originally joined the Buccaneers as a sixth-round draft choice in 2006. In two seasons, he appeared in 17 games with 11 starts.
